
Am I flexible enough for yoga?
We don't do yoga because we are flexible, we do it because we need flexibility and relief from tightness and tension. We do yoga because it makes us feel better and healthier. Simply doing the postures to the best of your abilities will give you 100% of the benefits your body needs.
I’ve never done yoga before. Can I do this?
Absolutely! Because of the posture modifications taught by the teacher, this type of yoga is very accessible to the general population, including beginners and those with limited flexibilty.
I’m into another sport. How can this help me?
Runner, tennis-player, cyclist… whatever your passion, your yoga practice will increase your flexibility, strength, improve your mental focus and add to your game.
I’m a regular yogi. How is this yoga different?
All yoga is beneficial, however, with this yoga variations of postures offered by the teacher allows you to explore your own challenges. We also specialize in teaching details which allows our students to further explore their own postures, and we help correct and re-align your posture where necessary.
Can I bring my teenager?
For sure! Our yoga is great for teens and adults, helping to create better focus and learning how to calm the mind while getting fit. And what better way to help your teen than by showing them how to take good care of themselves.
Should I do yoga more than once a week?
The benefits of doing yoga are multiplied when you practice more than once a week, and you quickly begin to feel the difference. However, it's more important to give yourself quality time and do yoga when you can.
I have a medical condition. Can I still do yoga?
Yes, in fact yoga can help with many medical problems. As with all health issues, consult your doctor before you involve yourself in any kind of physical program, yoga included.
Should I eat before class?
A light snack within a few hours of class is best.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable stretchy clothing.
What do I bring?
Bring a yoga mat, water bottle, and an open mind! It’s that simple.
We supply the yoga blocks, straps and props for you.
What time should I arrive for class?
Classes start promptly. You will gain the most from your practice when you arrive with time to get settled and relax. If this is your first time with us arrive 10 minutes before class to get oriented by the teacher, and please consider printing and completing the waiver ahead of time to simplify your arrival.
What if I miss a class?
You can make up a class by simply by attending another class during the same session. We encourage you to maintain your practice! (Note: missed classes cannot be carried over to another session).
What is your cancelation policy?
Should you need to cancel, a refund minus a $20 processing fee is available until 7 days after your first class.
